In the meantime, the engineering commitments already built into the platform are: phone numbers are stored only as an irreversible HMAC hash for login lookup plus a separately-keyed AES-256-GCM encrypted copy used solely for delivering alerts a member opted into; exact unit numbers are never published at any privacy setting; every sharing control defaults off. This paragraph describes the system as built, not a legal commitment — the binding policy text is still pending counsel.
